Columbia River is excited to introduce their first group of production folders designed by noted Texas custom knifemaker and Knifemakers' Guild member Allen Elishewitz. Yes, they have that cool Elishewitz look at first glance, but look a little further and you discover Allen's incredible new E-lock (patent pending), made possible in a production folder by precision CNC machining.
The E-lock uses a stainless steel rocker bar that crisply engages the blade for a rock-solid secure lock-up. A strong spring in the rocker bar prevents accidental release, but allows one hand closing when pressed firmly at just the right point.
A premium AUS-8 stainless steel blade available with Razor-Sharp or Combination Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point® Serrated edges, and a unique open build with 420J2 stainless steel frame and a black Zytel® back spacer at the spine.
The E-Lock has the details that mark it as an Elishewitz designs: ramped thumb studs, five-point pivot screws, six drilled holes in the frame and back spacer, and a custom high-mount gray Teflon® plated stainless steel clip, also with six drilled holes.
